The moon was not today's prompt, however, I couldn't pass up the chance to post a picture of one of God's masterpieces!

Oh and I do have to confess something......I did edit this picture ever so slightly. ;) But still, I am pretty proud of my camera! :)

Today's prompt: macro

So, at first, I had no clue what this meant....but after a search in my faithful friend, Google, I found that Macro photography is just a picture of really tiny stuff basically. So, why not a picture of a baseball.....made even better with the signatures of some players of our local minor league baseball team. :)

I decided to skip today's photo prompt.

I don't want to feel like I have to take a picture of something that I don't want to take a picture of. I do better when I am taking pictures of something I love, or something I am inspired by. So, some days I will use the photo prompts, some days I won't! :)

I am trying an every-day photo prompt for the month of August (like Dawn did for July here.)

This will be a good way to encourage me to take & post a photo everyday since I have been a little bit lacking in that area lately! :)

The first day of August was supposed to be a self portrait, but I don't post pictures of myself on the internet so.....instead, I am going to fudge it a little and post a portrait of my Jackson!
