Here's the story behind these beautiful flower pictures!

I was outside looking around for something to take pictures of and my mom comes out and wants me to take a picture of these flowers! The only problem? They are in our neighbors yard, and I guess I just felt a little weird pointing a camera over our fence towards our neighbors back yard! After all I don't want them to think I'm spying on them or doing anything creepy! But anyways, as long as my mother promised to stand beside me (I figured she could do the explaining! :) then I would take the pictures! Which in the end, I'm glad I did! :)

Like I have mentioned before, I am NOT a fan of bees, or wasps, or hornets, or yellow jackets, or anything that has a stinger! I am terrified of them, yet I am lucky enough never to have been stung!

But I couldn't pass up the chance to take this little bee's picture when he landed on my mother's wisteria!

And thankfully my camera has excellent zoom, so I was at a more-than-safe-distance away! :)

{Trip to the Beach}

A few weeks ago my family and I were able to take a little vacation to the beach! I haven't been to the beach in about 2 and 1/2 years, so I was thrilled! We didn't actually stay on the beach (but I will tell you more about that in another post!) but we were able to spend a while enjoying the ocean, collecting shells, and of course, for me....taking pictures!

My brother's engagement

A sweet friend reminded me that I hadn't posted in over a month.......

So, finally I have picked a few pictures from my brother's engagement to show to you!

These were taken on the day of a while after he asked her, so we will go take more later on.

I am very happy for both of them! They make an adorable couple and they are so good for one another! And I was very honored to take their pictures! :)
